The Last Jedi?

Luke going Dark Side! Bank on it and blame Yoda for some ****** ass training

Eee Chop Yub Nub

I dont know about dark side as much as not believing in the jedi order as much anymore.

The jedi order and the sith are just 2 possible usages of the force. The jedi order had a lot of flaws, an extreme orthodoxy that almost pushed its followers to the sith as many could not live up to those ideals, and the sith was waiting to say 'emotion isnt a bad thing, love isnt a bad thing, let me show you the full story'. A more moderate philosophy on the force, a balance, would make more sense.

Are you saying Luke would bring ... balance to the Force ... ?

Just saw Rogue One and really liked it. It provided a really good back story to an important event in the series. I'm up for more like that. My wife hated that, as she doesn't like things out of order and doesn't appreciate building on the mythology as much as I do.

I'd like to see another one focused on the old republic, where the jedi were more plentiful and powerful and maybe the seeds of the fall were planted.

So anyone else think they are going into the grey Jedi territory with this? I know grey Jedi existed in some of the legends stuff, but I don't think any existed in current canon. Not until Bendu in Rebels this year. But the appearance of Bendu kind of makes me think that is what Luke is talking about when he says the Jedi must end. Now that all these different Star Wars stories are so tied to each other I don't think it's a coincidence that Dave Filoni introduced a character like Bendu on Rebels.

Now that's a movie.

I watched Rogue One for the first time last night and it was ok. Just a different movie. Maybe it was because I was drunk while watching it that I wasn't jazzed for it

Yup, we are headed for official gray Jedi territory.

I thought the color of the light saber was an indication of how one uses the force. For instance, Mace Windu used purple because of his ability to use both sides of the force. And Jedi like Asoka Tano (anakins apprentice) use grey sabers which I though had a certain unique characteristic.

Careful peeps. There is a massive spoiler out there right now.

Up there with Snape kills Dumbledore.

No issue to me given I hate J.J. Binks with a fiery passion.

Some of you might care, though, so consider this a PSA.

Mace Windu used purple because Sam Jackson would only accept the role if he could have a light saber color different than anybody else

With this woman being Daisy Ridley's stunt devil, I expect some more convincing fight scenes next movie. This woman is badass
