The Greatest Jedi Ever

I vote for Yoda, love the way he limps around with the cane and then flies around like a pin ball when he is in a battle.

Top Ten from the creator:

1. Luke Skywalker

2. Yoda

3. Aenon Jurtis (Ancient Jedi Master)

4. Obi-Wan Kenobi

5. Kaja Sinis (The Very First Jedi Knight and Jedi Master
and the Founder of the Jedi Order)

6. Mace Windu

7. Ben Skywalker (Son of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade)

8. Plo Koon

9. Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader)

10. Ce Ce Denowai (Most Powerful Female Jedi Master
in History of All Time)

My vote goes to Yoda. He took on two powerful Siths in Sidious and Dooku and made Dooku run away and fought the Sith lord Sidious to a draw.

Obi Wan beat two Siths in Maul and Anakin...that's not too shabby either

Yeah, but what does he know? He's the guy who thought audiences would embrace Jar Jar Binks and expected them to buy that Anakin built C3P0.

Sooooo Darth Maul is alive? These latest episodes are messing up Star Wars continuity something fierce.

Not sure what point at time you are but there is a Darth Maul Doppelganger. But I am sure there is some conflicting story lines.

I love Plo Koon, but think Luke is the best jedi.

As far as learning the most in the shortest amount of time goes, Luke is definitely top of the list.

It's hard to judge his fighting skills though because we only saw him duel an old Vader and Vader didn't want to kill him

His progression from Empire to Jedi is astounding though, and he did that basically on his own. Sure, Yoda was there, but declining at a rapid pace. He was on the verge of a serious case of dementia by the time Luke met him first. He was a shadow of his former self when he died.

Would be interesting to see the final three (7, 8 and 9) made in which Luke is the Jedi master of all Jedi in a newly formed council...one he creates, again, on his own.

You're all thinking waaaaaaay to hard about this. The greatest Jedi? It's Luke Skywalker. He succeeded where all these other ******* failed. He was the only Jedi in the room when the force was finally brought into balance.

Now, Annikan/Vader can make a case, because he was the "trigger man" who physically destroyed the emperor, but he was a mental midget compared to his off-spring. He was only able pull that deed off because Luke had him firmly entranced with a Jedi mind trick more powerful than Vader could understand.

YES!!!

Luke Skywalker was the chosen one for gods sake...the one that finally brought balance back to the force. And its not really even close. I think everyone is thinking who was the most bad *** in the movies...not really which Jedi was truly the greatest of all Jedi's.

Here's some more ammo for Luke being the greatest Jedi ever.

Consider Empire Strikes Back. Luke departs for Degobah at the same time that Han, Leia and the rest of the gang are leaving Hoth. The Millenium Falcon is almost immediately beset upon by the Imperial Fleet, sparking the cat and mouse game that makes up the bulk of their plotline. Meanwhile, Luke upon arrival in the swamp, begins his training with Yoda. During the course of his education he senses that his friends are in trouble, and quickly takes off for Bespin to rescue them. My point is that by looking at the timeline, the movie pretty clearly informs us that Luke's schoolin' and the flight of the Millenium Falcon are going on at the same time, which means that unless we're to believe that the Millenium Falcon was parked in that worm's belly for a couple months, Luke only had the benefit of what? Maybe one or two days of Yoda's training? So, he takes off to fight one of the biggest badasses in the galaxy, armed only with what amounts to a couple days of Jedi Day Camp under his belt. And he comes out of it with only the loss of one hand? That kid is a rock star. A whiny rockstar maybe, but a rockstar nonetheless.

Without hyperdrive, it took the Falcon weeks to reach Cloud City.

Ahh yes, well that would explain that earlier scene on Hoth where Chewbacca was loading a month's worth of provisions onto the ship. It always felt a little out of place until now.

:big laugh: :big laugh:

Do we know who trained Yoda? I'm going with that guy.

Also, had the other jedi listened to Yoda, there wouldn't have been a Darth Vader...just sayin'.

The best Jedi's are the ones still alive. If you are the best, you aren't dead by anothers hand. So maybe Yoda is the best since he died of old age and awesomeness.
