The Fran fade

Bowen won’t start. He’ll see Sandfort minutes. Fran doesn’t trust Joe T as much as Ulis. Perkins is going to have to really improve from 3 or else Kris is the only one out there that’s a threat from deep, that’s why I think Sandfort goes there. Patrick and Kris definitely start. And yeah if Rebraca returns he’s obviously at the 5.

If Connor does come back, which I think is a possibility, I think he could end up starting again.
No I was listing where I thought they'd be on depth chart. Fran drives me nuts with Toussaint. I'm a big fan of his game I think he's a creator for guys in the halfcourt and plays really good defense. Especially helping in the lane. I thought Toussaint would play 28-30 minutes a game. I hope he's given more control next year but you're probably right he seems to like Ulis more.

Perkins definitely needs to improve his halfcourt game or skill set but he has big time physical tools that I think as he develops he will get better and better. Sandfort looks to have everything Perkins doesn't though. I think both will play about 20-25 a game next year sometimes together not certain which one starts though

Either it says their fans aren't as great as they claim or that the Fran fatigue of 12 years and never making it past the first weekend has worn out its welcome.
It's not fair if you cut him loose now. We all know it takes 20 days......eeerrrr...... 20 years to turn a program around. Fran is almost there.

Let’s just call a spade a spade.

It doesn’t matter who comes back or who Iowa brings in. They will win 17-21 games and get bounced early in the NCAA’s if they make it.

Literally does not matter who they have.

Toussaint isn't a P6 player.

I don't get it.

Iowa has Garza and then Murray right after.

They might win BACK TO BACK NPOTY awards with two different guys.

(And still only get two NCAA tournament wins out of it, haha.)

Yet despite that historic accomplishment... their fan support is depressing and the sense is one of stagnation.

Imagine what our fanbase would be like if we had the same luck.

We loved and supported guys like Fizer and Niang but they never came close to winning those awards.

The problem is he gets really loose and sloppy but I do like that he actually attacks the rim. He would be really solid in the Valley.
Yes he'd be really good in the Valley but I still think he has a spot for most teams in power 6. Maybe not the elite teams but 90 percent of teams would take him. He's always quickest guy on the court and I love his instincts

Murray isn't winning a NPOTY.

90%?

Maybe some P5 teams in rebuild mode.

Not a long list of P5 teams salivating over an undersized guard that shoots 27% from deep.

He doesn't shoot 3s often. Lot of pg's don't shoot from 3 well. I don't think Hunter is a very good shooter but I'd take him too. Toussaint is more of a creator for others but yes he can get out of control
