The Fran fade

Lick might have been the worst hire in the history of the State.
Some coaches just don't work out at certain places. Same with McD here.
Alford has had success basically everywhere other than Iowa and if Wooden's shadow wasn't so large could still be at UCLA.

Recycled gifs now I see.

All I’m saying, Foster would be welcome to wear Black and Yellow in Iowa City if he leaves Ames. And if he does leave Ames, I think Foster would be in Iowa City.
Foster is at Iowa State because of the brand, not the coach. He grew up a Hawk fan. If he wanted to be there, he would have committed out of HS.

We actually agree. Regular Season Conference Championship in football and basketball is more impressive than Postseason Conference Championship in football and basketball

LOL. You are arguing something that doesn't even exist. The Big 12, SEC, Pac 12, Big 10 and ACC all have conference championship games and don't award a regular season conference championship in football. The winner of the, sit down this is going to be crazy, Conference Championship Game, is the winner of the conference title in football.

All of the aforementioned conferences recognize a regular season and conference tournament champion in basketball.

In ranks of importance I would go like this as would almost any other fan except ISU fans.

1) Winning the Conference Championship Game in Football. I put this first because football is a much bigger deal than basketball is.

2) Winning the regular season championship in Basketball.

3) Winning the conference tournament in Basketball.

All three are great accomplishments though and something to be proud of.

Not a fan of game and never have been. He was over 7’ in high school and stood on the arc rather than posting up and getting easy baskets. He’s OK shooter but I really don’t see the NBA potential. He’s an Iowa kid so I hope he proves me wrong, I just don’t see it.
