I'm not sure he's an alpha period. We'll see next year I guess. He is certainly going to have to be more ball dominant at the very least. More high usage, less efficient. Similar to Bolton, probably, but with a better 3 pt shot.

The Big 12, SEC, Pac 12, Big 10 and ACC all have conference championship games and don't award a regular season conference championship in football. The winner of the, sit down this is going to be crazy, Conference Championship Game, is the winner of the conference title in football.

All of the aforementioned conferences recognize a regular season and conference tournament champion in basketball.

In ranks of importance I would go like this as would almost any other fan except ISU fans.

1) Winning the Conference Championship Game in Football. I put this first because football is a much bigger deal than basketball is.

2) Winning the regular season championship in Basketball.

3) Winning the conference tournament in Basketball.

All three are great accomplishments though and something to be proud of.

It is hilarious that ISU fans brag about a "Regular Season football championship" when literally there isn't one of those.

I said I think they will be a fringe NCAA team. Even if they don't make the NCAA they will be way better than ISU for the 3rd straight year regardless.

would honestly rather beat Drake or UNI at this point. That being said. If the Hawks had lost to the Clones this year we would've had Florida A & M level ridicule coming to us. and deservedly so.

There was at one point. 3 years ago, Iowa State would have been outright conference champions. I do think the format w/the championship game is better though.
