The Fran fade

The ref situation. And I wouldn't say it's much chippier than ever, IA vs IL was fierce years ago.
Im not trying to be thick but what are you talking about? I thought it was either the slapping of ball at end of the game with dysomu or when he went head to head literally with the illinois guy

Yes and he got into it with a ref and complained to reporters after the game.

How many college basketball players call out refs, by their name, during postgame?

O i think you're blending illinois and Ohio state games. Not many i would bet. He's feisty i won't argue that

Hmm i guess i wasn't aware of that. Thank you for the information. It's in the blood.
You see what I'm getting at? You mentioned people don't care for him because who his dad is but now are using that as a quasi excuse. Maybe more players have been critical of refs but I don't think I've seen one call out a ref by name while being interviewed. I always thought criticizing refs was off limits for players/coaches.

Death, taxes, and Hok fans talking up garbage players as the second coming. Remember when Anthony Clemmons was a lockdown defender?

I get it but it goes to my original point that he's actually a better player than mang will give him credit simply because they don't like him even if it is warranted

Most of my Iowa friends think he should honestly not be playing basketball and should just go full baseball because he could have a shot at at career there.

He has no shot at high level professional basketball if it helps clarify my stance. Doesn't discount his impact on the team though. I imagine Creighton fans hold Grant Gibbs in a higher regard than most

He has a better chance of playing the 4 in the NBA.

Gibbs was 10x the player Conner is. That's insulting to Gibbs

Gibbs had to be guarded and still shot over 50% from the floor. He was way better than Conner could ever dream of being
He turned it over more, had less assists and rebounds. I said they're similar but they aren't clones. One was a little better at certain things
