but you’re right. Other coaches are perfectly content to let him score 30 and take the shooters away. Wasn’t it Michigan where he had like 42, and they pretty much trailed by 10 the whole game.
good for him. And Iowa has a guy that can go get them guaranteed points when they need it. Something we haven’t had this year. Makes everything look a lot better when you have that.

Yeah Indiana will have an opportunity to be the 9th team. Purdue is going to have to win against Rutgers and pick up 2 or 3 wins in the Big 10 Tournament in order to make it, which would be surprising honestly.
Purdue is 23rd on Kenpom today and their SOS is 4. They've got wins over Mich St, Virginia, Iowa X 2, Wisconsin. They are on the outside looking in, but I think you're right...if they can win maybe their next 3 they've got a chance.

KenPom is terrific at showing how good a team actually is, but it doesn't really factor in wins and losses. Minnesota is 32nd in the nation on KenPom with a 13-15 record, while Kentucky is 24-6, is going to win the outright SEC title, but is ranked 30th.
In my opinion, Purdue's going to have to either win against Rutgers and pick up at least one win in the B10 tournament, or they're going to have to win at least two in the B10 tournament if they would end up losing to Rutgers.
It's impossible for Iowa to get an 11 seed.. Iowa's first game is likely to be either Rutgers, Purdue, or Indiana. There are different ways for all of those things to happen. Iowa could play Indiana as the 6 seed or the 7 seed.First round is 11-14 seeds, now that would be an epic fade.
