The Fran fade

Flashing from our game over, I was impressed with the O sets from both Purdue & Iowa. Both teams had a lot of off-ball movement, and rotation and good ball reversal. Prohm seems to rely more on 1-1 isolation; lot of guys standing; the spacing is good, but not much motion O to get switches.

Purdue shot 37% from the floor vs a bad defensive team

Sorry........that you've had such a horrible year that all you're left with is to hope the Hawks fail.

I mean I was at Hilton last night. I'm not hoping for anything it was easy to see the fade coming it happens almost every year. I would have never guessed Fran would have ruined Joe in the process but giving your son the green light to shoot 8 threes in a home loss to a .500 team is exactly what I was expecting though

I mean Connor's shooting percentage has still exceeded your prediction percentage this year.

The people talking about extending his contract to 2032 would like a word with you.

A huge problem for us this year is that we really don't have anyone that can cause matchup problems. Our offense has been predicated on spacing the floor, making something happen, and knocking down the open shot. With smaller guards, there's not much else you can do besides trying to run them off screens, set ball screens, etc. Neither Prentiss or Jackson can finish well at the rim, so having them attack the basket isn't exactly the best thing for them. We were going to have to rely on our shooting ability this year and that's something that was not very good.

This problem should be solved next year with the length and athleticism we're bringing in. Steve's going to have a lot more tools to work with on the offensive end.
