The Fran fade

Yeah, I actually was editing my post when you quoted it. Basically added I thought the TJ move there was an odd one.
Since his move to Washington as well, I've just assumed he's wanted to try other opportunities.
Personally, I think he could have really rebuilt Marquette better than Shaka.

With (what is it?0 7-8 new guys on the roster, I'm not confident we're gonna have a team ready in Dec to beat a line up of: CMcFran, PMcFran, JoBo, KMurray, and the transfer.

Pls convince me otherwise.
Connor will not be 100%. I haven’t heard if jbo has woken up from ice induced nap.

You should know bad basketball when you see it by now. Are you talking 2 win bad? Or worse than 170 kenpom bad? Or just under .500 bad? There are so many levels of bad!
Yeah...you’re right- ISU was awful this (brilliant observation) BUT...
In Fran’s eleven years at Iowa, ISU also knows what it‘s like to win the conference tournament (multiple times), advance past the first weekend of the NCAA tournament (2x), host Gameday for BB, not get boat raced by a lower seed like Oregon in the NCAA, and have a shot at the conference championship with 3 games left in league play- things Fran has never accomplished at Iowa in eleven years.
As the girl says when she gets to the toga party in Animal House, Iowa’s motto should be “I gotta a lot of catching up to do.”

Serious question for Iowa fans. Fran has been the head coach there since 2010. If he retired at the end of next year what is your best memory of him? What is his biggest accomplishment there after 12 years?

I asked something similar before the tournament. Team wise there isn't much.

12 years and not one snapshot moment or accomplishment the fanbase can point to and hang their hat on. Thats pretty dang sad. The guy is likely to end up being the winningest coach in program history as well.
