The last big 12 championship we won was mostly Prohm players. I believe Nick Weiler Babb was the only Hoiberg recruit.Who did that with Fred Hoibergs players?

This is dumb. Fran has given them more opportunities than they probably deserve to this point. He had Uhlis playing against the #2 team in the country a couple weeks ago.Kind of tough to say that, considering they are on a stacked veteran roster and haven’t had the chance to prove themselves. Dunbar and Blackwell got that opportunity and they both suck.
Hope this is a jokeStill getting used to being the football school in Iowa. We watched you guys do it for so many years that we just figured that that is what we are supposed to do.
Uhlis is pretty bad. This is dumb. Fran has given them more opportunities than they probably deserve to this point. He had Uhlis playing against the #2 team in the country a couple weeks ago.
Trying to be like an Iowa fanWhy do you keep bringing up football in a basketball thread?
No, under past usernames you would always bring football into basketball threads. Was common. You still try to avoid admitting to prior usernames, though.Hope this is a joke
Not a fan of game and never have been. He was over 7’ in high school and stood on the arc rather than posting up and getting easy baskets. He’s OK shooter but I really don’t see the NBA potential. He’s an Iowa kid so I hope he proves me wrong, I just don’t see it.
Agree, but missing the whole year, I think he may be two years out with solid development. Not sure how long he is idle with his injury.Foster has a ton of potential. 6 foot 10 guys that are super athletic and can stroke it from deep don't grow on trees. He is perfectly suited for today's NBA game. With the right coaching, he could be in the NBA after next year.
Have you seen ISU basketball? I would be doing it too.Why do you keep bringing up football in a basketball thread?

You must be pretty young if you're naive enough to think Iowa will become a perennial Top 25 team. It’ll be fun to watch for sure. I’d love to see them stay as a top 25 team. It would only help future recruiting classes.
Not a chance. Not even with Jay Bowe on the roster.Honest question, do you think Fran will ever win 2 conference championships like Prohm has? or even get to their conference championship game?
Stop.He looks like a late second round draft pick right now, playing lights out offensively. Coming back would only improve his stock. I could see Iowa as a 8-10 seed. If they finish 17-14 or so with a couple good wins that’s a tournament team.
Weiskamp doesn't strike me as someone who hates ISU like Jorbo. He shows no emotion out there. He's got a deadly shot but he is not an alpha.Oh I’ll bet he comes back just for the career sweep of the Clones.
Meh. Even prior to his recent injury I think this would be a stretch. Just remove the 'above'lmao! Iowa will be an NIT team, at best, next year. They’ll finish in the bottom third of the big ten. Look at what they have returning...Fredrick and Nunge, two above average players. Without Garza iowa is going back to being .500
Also, thank you for avoiding my question about ISU’s football projection being much greater than Iowa’s. You know it’s true..at least your train of thought would suggest to agree with it
Weezy is a good 2nd man on the court. He’s the Beta to the Garza, the Alpha.Weiskamp doesn't strike me as someone who hates ISU like Jorbo. He shows no emotion out there. He's got a deadly shot but he is not an alpha.
40% of the time isn't almost 0% of the time. But math is hardIn the last 10 years:
Teams winning their conference championship game, going on to win the NCAA championship- Football: 8 out of last 10
Basketball: 4 out of last 10
Almost as if the basketball tournament doesn’t really matter.
Yeah, he's not white and doesn't put his back to the basket at 7', so I can understand a Hawk fan like you not liking him.Not a fan of game and never have been.
