I think DVR is the only way to enjoy this show. Commercial breaks are crazy numerous.

AMC and their shows can be even worse with one hour shows only running 45 minutes of actual showtime. It's pretty ridiculous considering these are essentially pay to view channels and are still stacked with more commercials than the channels that still broadcast over the air.

I use the commercials breaks to peruse CF.

The Lexi season is where Falling Skies jumped the shark. That whole season was awful, followed by another bad season. The finale was just as bad as Dexter's. We only continued watching after having three great seasons, sufferred through season 4, then watched season 5 only since it was the final season.

yeah pretty much the same for me. I'll have to try out expanse. I haven't watched SyFy since they cancelled Eureka

I've been trying to save #4 so I didn't have such a long wait for #5. I doubt I'll make it through the weekend though.

Loving the series. And it's just getting started, the books just kept getting better.

Damn epsidoes are really short though. Run time was 45 minutes and that included some commercials for other SyFy stuff.

They released 3 and 4 on Demand. Love this show, episode 4 was amazing.

Didn't want to start new thread but I heard Childhood's End mini series is good?

It's probably a top 10 book for me, would be great if it's a decent adaption.

I'm really puzzled by the tone-shift with the crew of the ship. It's... dramatically different than in the book.
