The Avengers

Yea i know what you mean. i went opening night and missed a lot of the subtle jokes because of people laughing. I couldn't even hear what Stan Lee said during his cameo because people were cheering so loudly.

And then i ended up watching it again today... i feel like such a nerd.

Spectacular. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about it. Everything you want in that kind of movie. And the scene at the very end of the credits was hilarious.

Saw it tonight, too. Excellent! I guess I'll actually have to see Thor and Captain America now. I always thought the Thor backstory was too far fetched for me, but seeing Asgard play a larger role in the overall Avengers plot has finally suspended my disbelief.

Ruffalo did a good job with Banner, and I feel like he's a better fit... Although I gather that Edward Norton was a much larger Hulk devotee and was crushed (puns! har har) when he wasn't selected for the role again.

So who's the set-up villian shown during the credits?

As an old man who bought these comics when he was a kid, I have to give these people A+ for pulling this off.

I watched the whole first season of that on Netflix (accompanied by much mocking from my wife) it was AWESOME!
I have a 9 year old and a 6 year old, both boys who are huge fans of that show and the comic book superhero genre in general. They make for a great excuse to be a nerd again without being mocked by my wife.

Saw the movie last night in 3D. I usually think 3D is a waste o money but it was worth it. GREAT movie. I will be going again! I whiffed on the second clip AFTER the credits. Saw the first one an thought that was it.

so wait... there's another scene after ALL the credits... after Thanos?

Okay I'm at my second viewing of it right now... I will make sure to stay for it!

I've been looking all over for it, but I cannot find any sort of a second end credits scene on the Internet. Every "End Credits" movie is the same one, the one where Thanos is revealed. Are you sure there's a second end credits scene?
