Texas Tech opens as 16 point favorite

This guy is on to something. We are NOT a good team. And those that say we have a history of stopping the Tech offense are basing this off the now Cincinnati coaching regime. What is our record vs Leach? Because Kingsbury runs that same system.
The vaunted Texas Tech offense has actually only really killed a team once, Kansas.
Against SMU they scored 41. SMU's opponents have average 43.2 points. Below average.
Against TCU they scored 20. TCU's opponents have averaged 22.2. Below average.
Against Texas State they scored 33. Texas State's opponents have average 24. So Tech was a whopping 9 points above average. However, if you remove Texas State's 28-3 win over Prarie View A&M that average jumps to 29.25. Meaning Texas Tech scored only a field goal more than other FBS teams have.
Against Kansas Tech scored 54. Kansas's opponents have averaged 25.3. So good job. You beat up on Kansas.

I think that TT is going to be a big challenge for Wally and his staff to defend, but I also think that the ISU offense will be able to move the ball against the TT defense better than last year. Turning the ball over like last year will not be acceptable, and does not seem to be the trend this year. TT does a lot of gambling on defense, and the Clones are going to have to attack that by getting separation and completing passes over the middle.

Tech by 16, "So What" else is new? TT is unbeaten and we can't even beat a "Puni" team in our own house, that's all you can expect for national respect/ bookie makers from LV.....
I have a lot of fond memories of LV esp my boss buying 2000 dollars worth of golf equipment so he wouldn't lose it at the blackjack tables. Also getting kicked out of the Sands because I was with 2 guys who got into an argument with a cocktail hostess because she could not bring their drinks fast enough. lol

I don't know what ISU's record was against Leach, but I do know what happened last time Kingsbury went against the Cyclones.
Tech unbeaten, ranked, coming off a big win (score wise), ISU coming to town. I like our chances.
I don't understand the logic of downplaying Texas Tech's opponents, but then praising Baylor like they're a NC contender. Baylor has one of the worst SOS in the country. Kansas will beat West Virginia, write it down.
I really like Paul Rhoads and respect how his teams always play, but I fully expect Texas Tech to take care of business in Lubbock on Saturday.

How many wins does your opponents have? Baylor just destroyed a WV team that beat Oklahoma State. Kansas is so bad I dont even know if they are your best win.

My thing is TTU did the same crap last season, play no one in non conference and then lose most of their conference games.
Texas Tech opponents>>>>Baylor opponents and it's not remotely close.
Even Louisville has a higher Sagarin SOS than Baylor. Baylor's SOS is 149, Tech's is 100.
Texas Tech beat Kansas on the road by a larger margin than Baylor beat West Virginia at home. I also think KU beats WVU this year.
Seems like I heard this exact same story last year of the Texas Tech vs. ISU game week. I was hoping this year, y'all would have learned to not lean on that and focus more on the actual matchup.
