Texas has no chance

Iowa is actually a good offensive team. Wisconsin whooped up on the Kennesaw States, Woffords, and UMKCs of the world.

Yeah, I just like to bust on Iowa. They are a "good team" when you compare them to those others.

Texas has nothing to lose... that scares the crap out of me... we will get TXs best game. Period.

We don't have a lot to gain, sure we may go up a seed for the dance... but we are in.. WE ARE IN.

This will be CFH biggest coaching challenge..... preparing a game against a cat that is backed into a corner.

All teams will be fighting for their lives at this point. This determines the good teams. If you feel bad playing Texas, think how texas must feel playing us in front of thousands of our fans who will probably be supported by other schools.

We can win, just hope the refs call a fair game. Babb needs to shut brown down, we just need to kick some damn *** period.

If he's right I say everyone in this thread donates 2,000 credits to him.

Saying Texas has no chance is a little short sighted - I do like the fact that Iowa State is 8-3 since losing in Austin with wins over KU, Kstate and Baylor. Texas is 6-5 since then with its best win over KSU. Both have a "worst loss" at Oklahoma State. , Iowa State's wins over KU and Baylor at home and KSU on the road are definitely great wins and the difference in the tournament resumes, but Texas and Iowa State are not that far apart in their overall performance and split in the regular season. Texas is playing for their tournament hopes - Iowa State is playing for a championship. I like the Clones in this one and this tournament is a great opportunity for this team to take another step to establish themselves as a team that is ready to win some big games in March.

^This. Texas is under an incredible amount of pressure for Thursday's game. Lose, and they are probably out. Win, and they've got an alright shot at getting in.

It will be very interesting to see how they respond to that pressure.
And we will definitely try to add as much pressure as we can to them. Come, Babb, come, Melvin, come Tyrus.

Texas has a 25-30% chance. The crowd will be alive.

His computer also thought that Wisconsin was the #2 team in the country prior to conference play.
They were. That was last year in 2011. Things changed.

Kentucky and NC look like top teams while Syracuse may be in violation troubles. Looks like Wiscy did not make the top three in the Big Ten.

CW tweeted that UT maybe favored. I hope so. The coaches can load up that Texas sized chip back on their shoulders. Plus ISU has a pretty good record when they aren't favored.
