TCU's ten remaining healthy players walking around campus this week...
Sounds like they are down to six scholarship players. I don't know the minimum number of scholarship players, but they have 14 on their roster, and two are hurt; that means they have 6 walk-ons? Something is not adding up with their press release.
Hell, Iowa men have fewer than 6 legit college players on their roster yet they soldier out there every game.
In conference play, they've really only gone 7 deep, but the pattern has been weird. They have players go from not playing to 17 minutes. 1 players who usually play a lot had games where they participated for 0 minutes. I bet they have a lot of nagging injuries.
"A number" of players; that phrase has always bugged me. "A number" could be zero.
Was it a Larry Eustachy practice?
It is the day before a game; I can't believe they would have a hard practice the day before.
Just spit balling here, but this feels like a team that has a bunch of small nagging injuries that could really use a week off to rest and saw an opportunity to do so while missing two games that were very likely losses.

Even worse: A "handful" of players. How many people can fit on an average hand? (Any use of "handful" in that way is usually lame).
