NFL: *** SUPER BOWL 50 Thread ***

Yeah. He's a horrible, god-awful human being for having an emotional moment after having lost the biggest game in his career so far. Pure evil.

I never said he was a horrible person for his post game antics, there are plenty of reasons why I dislike him, but that was taking a mile long leap there buddy. What I don't like are pompas dicks that are the bees knees when everything is going their way, but act like a 3 year old at the first sign of adversity. He's just like Jameis Winston - flashy show boat that cares much less about team than his own image.

Didn't Peyton basically not help Brock at all on the practice field, in the film room, when he got benched?
I know it's a coach's job to do that but I remember thinking at the time it sounded more like sour grapes than being a good team mate.

Actually everybody around the Broncos disproved those rumors, including Brock. I'm not saying he's perfect, but nobody IN the game has ever said Manning is anything other than a team only guy, never considering himself the reason for a win and usually taking all the blame for a loss. He understands it's a team sport and that's why he's universally loved and respected by his peers.

Brady has 4 bud. The defense literally carried them. The Broncos had 11 first downs and 194 total yards
And beat Brady twice this year and just won the Superbowl! I'm not trying to make the claim that Peyton is "better" than Brady - they both are incredible QBs & fans/pundits are going to make their case about who is better - sometimes using different criteria. It was obvious that Manning's health has declined & he is far less effective than he has been the last couple of years, but he has won more games than any NFL QB - including tonight's! So, as a lifelong Broncos fan, I'm gonna celebrate & savor tonight's victory for quite a while!!

Brady has 6 less wins...

as a fan of neither manning or the panthers...and def not the broncos (raiders fan) I love they way this turned out. Manning, one of the all time great do the right thing, good qb's, walks off a winner. The way it would be in a movie. While his performance wasnt the reason they won, it didnt cause them to get an L.. He is 39 years old. 39. WTF, im 8 years younger and am/was fairly athletic and sometimes think that if I throw a baseball to my niece, my arm will go flying off my body as both my knees go out and I end up in a crying heap. At the same time.....a qb, who's whole persona is based off of (by most people) running the ball and being athletic, led his team to the super bowl. A black qb, whos color doesnt matter other than description and comparison to cullpeper, mcnabb, vick etc.....With a personality that is polarizing, fun, childish, and completely in my opinion, epitomizes someone who plays a GAME for a living. A guy that was the best player during the regular season etc etc. A guy that guys like Manning has an extreme amount of respect for. I have no idea where I was going with this whole thing, but good for both of them. For those of you that say well manning didnt really have much of an effect on the game or haha cam lost.....f u, good for both of them! Elite.

Also, comparing qb's and saying which is best is redic. different eras, different deffenses, different athletes. Marino, Montana, Elway, Brady, Manning. Fun to argue, but its about as useful as arguing shaq, kareem, chamberlain, russel, hakeem. Obviously Shaq dominates them all, but babe couldnt hit off Randy Johnson and he's still cool so who cares.

Cam doesn't show grace and respect for his competition when he wins. How could I possibly expect that when he loses?

I like the Broncos and have nothing against Peyton Manning, but Peyton is the Emmitt Smith of QB's. Got most of the records by playing well beyond his prime. If he gets credit for this win, he also needs to get the blame for losing 43-8 two years ago.

P.S.: I don't see any 35-point SB losses on Brady's resume'.

when did anyone say he doesn't?

I'll just leave this here since, you know, this is 2016 (not 2014, or the early 2000s).

You mean like in Super Bowl 36 Patriots vs. Rams when Brady was 16-27 for 134 yards and NE was 2-11 on third down and had 15 first downs to 26 for the Rams?

Poor little Cammy Cam. The guy does not like to take hits. I remember when he was at Auburn he would take forever to get up on every hit. I was laughing every time he got sacked, and was just waiting for him to fold.

I feel bad that Peanut Tillman did not get a ring, because that dude is a class act.
