Student turnout is apalling

Then tell your fellow students who have season tickets and don't use them EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. to start using them.

All my friends who have tickets go. And when they don't they give them away to other guys on my floor. There's always someone using all 11 of our tickets. Only once did it not happen and it was because of a chem final during a non conference game. And we used 9 of them.

THE STUDENTS ON THIS BOARD ARE THE ONES GOING TO THE GAMES, IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN TO SOMEONE COME TO CAMPUS AND COMPLAIN TO THE ONES NOT ON THIS SITE, THANKS!

This was my contribution to the thread: "I hope that Indiana and Wisconsin just whoop the hawks."

Chuckd4735 then reminded me that they had already played Indiana and won.
Shucks!

A person who probably goes to all the other games as well....

Back in my day, I went to the games even if I was on my deathbed with 4 finals the next day, no matter what. They would roll my hospital bed into Hilton and that would cause the floor to shake.

So you found one person who said he had homework. Way to go, high five.

So busy with his homework he could spend time on CF. Point is, I highly doubt you have polled all the students on this site to determine that all of them are going to the games. I would guess that some of the 61% of students who are not going to the games are on this site. With the number of people who visit this site, the odds are pretty much in favor of my opinion. Now I'm sure the ones who spend countless hours of time over here and post frequently are going to the games, but there are ALOT of people who just read this site and never post.

You just can't be wrong can you? Also, if he's doing homework on his computer it takes less than a minute to post something. And he can even have the TV turned to the game at the same time. Multitasking is hard for you though I bet.

I can make up statistics as well you know. I bet 79% of old people on this site aren't going to games. I bet 70% of those people live within 50 miles of the stadium.

Yes sir. First missed game... Opportunity cost of putting off homework for Texas Tech is much different than a Kansas/Baylor/Mizzou/KState game

And I'm not calling you out necessary. I understand you cant expect everyone to make every single game, and that basketball is not, and should not, be everyone first priority. However, I would think that we could expect better than 39% student turnout.
