First, the argument that "ISU has sucked for 6 years" is not really a good one. The team doesn't suck now. All that argument does is suggest that the students are unable to figure out that ISU has a good MBB team worthy of watching, which is not particularly flattering for the students.
Secondly, as someone said earlier in the thread, the Hilton atmosphere will likely never be like it was. In the Orr days, the student ticket seat blocks rotated throughout the entire arena. The students would stand, and it forced everybody else to stand, and gradually, the "old people" would get into the game. I'd love for this to happen again, but the current money-driven nature of college athletics just isn't going to permit that to happen.
