Can we implement a system to ban anyone who starts a thread ******** about student attendance at basketball games? These threads are getting seriously annoying when there is one after every game.

If the students showed up then maybe Al wouldn't have to start a thread? It's not like it's someone with 3 posts starting the thread. CW then seconded what Al said so apparently it's a legitimate concern. Don't be like Iowa students, show up to the game in force!

Until students are tripping over one another in the aisles, sitting on each others' laps, and dueling for every last seat, I will ***** about how poor the student attendance is at the games.

90% of the time I'd agree with you...but this **** is getting freaking embarassing. It's late February, we've got our best team in at least 7 years and our students just are not showing up for it.

To be honest it's just sad.

Solution 1: figure out a way to get enough students at the game or at least in the lower level so that when you see a free throw on TV there arent any F-ing empty seats behind the backboard, or.......

Solution 2: Ban the guys who points it out.

Yep, 2 is much easier so must be correct. I was at the game Saturday and for many, many reasons I wish I could get student tickets again. lower level empty at tip off????? Hell, you couldnt get in the lower level 45 minutes before tip off when I could get tickets.

The athletic department has to figure out a way to fill these seats up. CA is only part of the problem IMO.

Keep track of the tickets being used. Next year those not using them all the time fill in the rafters and have to earn the seats back

You made a choice not to attend the game so that you could do your homework. You then made a choice not to do your homework, but instead to not only read, but respond (twice!) to a thread on this site. Sounds like your homework burden isn't quite so crushing as you made it out to be.
