I just wanted to say "good job" to the students. They were packed in there and into it the whole game. Say what you want about Sweet Caroline, but if you look over there during the song, you see why it should be kept. The students were having a great time.

There just seems like there's a LOT more school spirit than there was when I was in school just 8 years ago. And a lot more organization for both FB and BB.

The simple solution to most people's Sweet Caroline problem is to only play it if we are winning.

It was a great time in the student section...minus the d-bag who shook his beer up and sprayed it all over everyone after our first touchdown...that pissed me off but other than that, fun time! I wish I could see "Sweet Caroline" and "Whatcha Gonna Do I-S-U" from the other side of the field...

well let me tell you.....I sit on the west side....and the student section was incredible to look at.

you are guys were awesome last night. :yes:
 
student section was awesome, but the only problem was that some of the new kids couldnt figure out that we had to go back a row to sit down. They will figure it out soon

Exactly. Also if you are going to do the I - S - U chant and have the cheerleaders wave the flags, it may be a good idea to actually have the cheerleaders wave the respective flag at the same time as the letter they are waving! Alo, how about spreading the flags out to different areas of the field where all fans can see them.

It looked like a great time from my vantage point (5:11 - which, btw are much better seats than I anticipated...)

I had almost forgot about Sweet Caroline, until I was driving to work the other day w/ the radio on XM53. And it way Me First and the Gimme Gimmes covering Sweet Caroline. I decided at that time I need to begin lobbying to switch to that version/recording!

Yeah.... I'm a bit jealous of that too :sad: I had people texting me and sending me messages about not being there...



On a side note, I'm curious who were the guys with the red and yellow cloaks in the front row?
