STEELE!!!

whatever happens will happen, but the spring game is hardly an indicator of anything. If it was, Jon Davis would have his jersey retired by now.
How'd Seneca fair in his first spring game? We're talking quarterbacks here. I tend to agree with your statement, but it doesn't defeat the fact that we need much more production from our qb's for us to start winning some more football games.

Well put

I agree he looks great....running against the #2's. All of JB's reps have been with the 1's. Ironically, both of their groups have put up 3 points. Guess we need to keep this thread going, huh.

Dan Tracy ‏ @dtracy89

O shoot, please don't tell your superiors that I started a thread without your approval

Steele and Barnett have been switching teams all game. Steele's 40 yd bomb was against the 1st team D.

Clones85, Actually, I am being updated also. But, I can ask Mr. Barnett to meet you somewhere.

Love to meet him! Seems like a great guy

Barnett didn't play any more against the 1s than Jantz did. Neither looked great but Jantz looked better

Tough day for QBs. It's tough to throw the ball against a defense you've been playing against all spring. I hope this means that we can expect a lot of int's from the defense this year.

I'm going to go ahead and not count Richardson out of this thing. I don't think he will win the job but I don't think it's time to count him out.

Look at it this way, our defense actually should be better next year and guys like RG3 had thief worst games through the air against us.

It'll depend on what type of offense the coaches want to run. Richardson isn't going to be a zone read runner, but he seems to a more traditional QB. If we can run the ball with a traditional QB, I'm all for Sam starting. I just don't know if we can do that.

The defense will be one of the best in the Big 12. Dont look too much into quarterback play today, they are going against a great unit. But I will say this, I think both guys are just buying time for Richardson.
