Looks like we are recruiting a JUCO QB for this up coming year. He was on a visit not to long ago. He was at Hawaii his freshman year then transferd to CCSF.

Agile, accurate, throws the long ball well...could be a nice addition. Seems like QB is a focus for the coaches right now.
 
Originally walked on and red-shirted at Hawaii out of high school. Got buried in the depth chart and decided to transfer, ended up JUCO.
 
This has to say something about confidence in Tiller and other QB's on the roster.
 
sign this cat up if he was good enough to play at hawaii he is good enough to play here. next Colt Brennan? Love hawaii QBS.
 
I'm not a huge fan of any of the QBs we have right now. Get him here, the more competition the better.
 
We have inexperienced QBs right now. It make sense to hedge your bets on this position. This takes nothing away from Tiller and Capello, or the young guys either. Best man wins the spot.

Yep, upsets me as well. The defense could use some of those schollies on the DL and at safety but we keep recruiting WR and QBs. It is frustrating. Develop players on the offensive side please.

From what we saw of the QB's a JUCO is a necessity.
 
yeah, but what about DT? We have none and are running out of ships. Most schools struggle to recruit that position, but it seems none more so than us.
 
QB is probably the position that has the greatest individual impact on the success or failure of a team.

Look at the turn around at Texas A & M after their QB change. Look at the success of Auburn after they bought Cam Newton.

We need to find an impact player at the QB position.

Cam McDaniel?? He was just here for a visit and is going to Notre Dame, I believe. :twitcy:

I think you mean Cam Newton.
 
I love the proposition of a Juco QB here. We know Tiller has had his struggles at the position. Haven't seen Cappello or Barnett throw a pass yet when the real bullets are flying.

ISU has a nice little window next fall, and they need to take advantage of that. I gotta believe Rhoads and Burnham think they can get that defense to play fairly well next year against virtually anyone. Cyclones just need some decent QB play and they can get to a bowl game.
