Star Wars Episode 7 Teaser Trailer

That tree is so dead ...

I was underwhelmed, but not totally disappointed.

Exactly how the husband and I feel. The X-Wings and the brain trip of figuring out which way is up with the Falcon, then TIE fighters out of nowhere...very cool.

Can't find it animated, but when this scene comes up...

...my husband comments "And in the future, we'll ride USB drives."

On the right foot already with the classic storm troopers. The robots from the prequels were so stupid. It would be nice if this and any newer ones will be awesome. If so redo the first three again. I know it probably won't happen

Episode one sparked podracer for the n64, the only redeemable quality of that movie. Oh and Natalie Portman.

The more I watch it the more excited I am. I am glad they kept the dish off the Falcon, makes it seem like the just finished the Death Star run. CAN I FAST FORWARD LIFE SO I CAN BE A 27 YEAR OLD IN LINE AT MIDNIGHT FOR THIS ******* MOVIE?!?!?!

My thought there was "which hannah montana wannabe disney preteen star is gonna be the padawan in the movie?" Because that is what I predicted about a year ago...

The people who think everything has to be the same as the original trilogy for it to be awesome are the worst kind of people. The new lightsaber is cool in my opinion. It's not like they're all going to be like that... Perhaps this new Sith wanted to fashion it that way to express a new era of the dark side or something...

Yes, the original movies were amazing, but 30 years after the destruction of the second Death Star is a lot of time for new innovations in the universe.

Obviously your husband isnt a Star Wars fan. Star Wars takes place a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away. Not sometime in the future.

Jeeze, people these days. :jimlad:

TBH, age & gravity have impacted Luke as well. Han probably fares the best because he was already kind of craggy looking compared to the fresh-faced siblings.

They'll just give Luke the master Jedi treatment. Beard and robes with the hood.

That game made me so mad. I hate-sold it the moment I finished it. It was fun, but the computer players were just a-holes.

Hashtag NerdBoner

I've watched it upwards of 35 times.

My biggest takeaway: In the Stormtrooper scene (not the opening), "You're a little short to be a Stormtrooper aren't you?".

A bit underwhelming. At least there is a germ of an idea about what the plot will be. I am concerned that Abrams will make it more about the action imagery than any kind of interesting story. i.e. Star Trek. I am not 12 anymore.

Was there any plot ever in these movies? They are all about showing us fantasy places and dudes with laser swords.

Don't get me wrong I love them. In fact I've played almost all the video games, read some books, and am currently watching Star Wars: Rebels. Trust me, I'm invested a and hope this is good. What I loved about them is great characters and witty dialogue which were present in the first three but absent in the prequels. Obviously I also enjoy the mythology but that is consistent throughout.

George Lucas does a special edition of the trailer.

It's sad how accurate some of that is to what George would have done to this, all the extra crap that had to be going on in the background.
