Star Wars Episode 7 Teaser Trailer

A bit underwhelming. At least there is a germ of an idea about what the plot will be. I am concerned that Abrams will make it more about the action imagery than any kind of interesting story. i.e. Star Trek. I am not 12 anymore.

In other good news, the movie series should be available on digital download sometime this winter. That's all I could find a couple months ago, when I was looking to try and download it for my iPad. Said sometime this fall or winter, around the time the trailer got released.

I can't wait..............i hope they make it dark and the complete opposite of Episode 1&2........Episode 3 was starting to get there for me, but never really did it.

I am hoping they are going with the less is more philosophy. I am sick of seeing pretty much the entire movie from trailers beforehand.

I think Abrams usually doesn't give very much info especially on his teasers kind of like Super 8. Seems like he tries to build up more anticipation than others, but I don't think he really needs to do that with this film.

Lightsabers with cross guards...guess we're gonna get medieval with the light saber duels.

That's kind of the impression I got. If I were more skeptical about it, I'd say it was taking the audience for granted. But it's Star Wars and it's going to print money next Christmas, so it's hard to justify giving much away.

I was underwhelmed, but not totally disappointed.

Intersteller did a pretty nice job of this in my opinion and I still had lots of surprises while watching. Maybe too much so in that I don't understand why Nolan's own fanboys don't think it's his best work when they hyped some of his other movies as the greatest of all time before they were even released.

As for Ep 7...as long as we don't get some sort of movie that's about a bunch of old people out adventuring I can't see how it isn't a massive leave over crapisodes I-III. If you shut your eyes during Star Trek Into Darkness it sounds pretty much exactly like a modern Star Wars movie should already.
