I didn't think it looked like Ames at first, either, but that's gotta be by the Lake (with the intersection of Welch and Lincoln Way in the background, right?).
Note the giant blue CopyWorks sign in the background. That should be a dead giveaway.

I've gotten a few texts from friends on campus, saying it is "insane", "crazier than veishea", and nothing like they have seen before. One is even afraid of the crowd slipping into riot mode and causing some damage.
Freshmen would have been about 9 years old in 2001. I was only in high school, but that's crazy to think about.
