Obviously we cant do anything to replace the loved ones that were lost. But ensuring that nothing like this happens again is one thing we CAN do, and if that means bad people like Osama have to die, then I'm okay with it.

I don't know if there's ever going to be a way to ensure something like 9/11 never happens again. It's great that the face of terrorism is dead. But there will be a new one. There always is. Terrorism existed long before bin Laden, and will continue now that he's dead. The best we can do is keep it at arm's length, IMO.

You're right, obviously there is no way to completely end terrorism, but from everything I'm hearing on the news, there is no one that can replace Osama as the head of Al-Qaeda. And even if someone else takes over for him, if killing Osama gives our troops even a marginally bigger chance of coming home, then thats a victory for the US.

That's some good sleuthing there.

Or maybe it was the line of Pakistani ISI and government officials waiting to see Osama and ask his advice on how to make billions of dollars off the US while simultaneously doing all they can to attack us, Afghanistan and kill US soldiers.

Bottom line: The real enemy is Pakistan and the filth that run that country.
