So if someone murders your kid or parent or brother or sister you'd be okay with what, just shrugging it off? Killing or jailing the murderer them won't bring them back.

As long as people don't celebrate TOO much, I agree. But we can't afford to ever just kick it back and pat ourselves on the back. Because when you're fighting terror, you're chasing ghosts. There's always going to be another person who hates the Western world enough to attack it.
Well, for those of us that have served in this crap country, some of us more than once, it's a pretty damn big deal.
I haven't read through all these threads but this is huge news! I sent a congratulatory text to my son (and this is meant for every person ever deployed to that region) just for the fact that this monster has finally been eliminated which is the very reason that they were sent there in the first place. My hat's off to each and every of our military that has spent time in either Iraq or Afghanistan.

Obviously we cant do anything to replace the loved ones that were lost. But ensuring that nothing like this happens again is one thing we CAN do, and if that means bad people like Osama have to die, then I'm okay with it.
