Sounds like the NCAA is about to issue a statement

This is what we need to start doing to these apologies:

We know statements are pointless. Just furthers the thought the call was blown. The call didn't affect the game. Next time don't get down 13 points with 5 minutes left.

Apology is better than nothing. I have lived through a horrendous number of bad calls, never ISU had an apology until this year. Maybe something is changing. It is the privileged schools that almost always get the favorable end of these calls. What I would really like is for them to just call the game, not call the privilege.

Greg Anthony is an idiot. I get it that Craft made a great play...but Clyburn made a great play too. Only difference is the official jobbed him out of his.

My reply for Greg Anthony: Yes, all of those people make mistakes. I get that. Those mistakes affect the opportunity differently:
1. A coach's mistake doesn't take away their opportunity to make a play. It means that the coach failed to capitalize on the opportunity.
2. A player's mistake doesn't take away their opportunity to make a play. It means that they had the chance and failed to get it done.
3. The ref mistakes take away opportunities. No guarantee that Will makes the FT, but he was robbed of the opportunity, and had the opportunity for the 2 deleted from the scoreboard.

We get upset about ref mistakes because they deny and take away opportunities for coaches and players to succeed or fail. It's a different kind of mistake.

I find it super ironic that most of the Jayhawk board appears to be on ISU's side.

Tre4ISU has also issued a statement:

"While we understand and appreciate that the NCAA and Big 12 acknowledges our ruthless ****ings of this year, we would like to extend our sincerest **** you to officiating. We would also like to thank each official that made or in some cases didn't make these awful calls, for the deprivation of perhaps great success. It has truly been an honor to give KU the Big 12 championship and OSU, a probable Final Four berth."
