Im a 22 year old and i have field pass for every home game so i get different perspective and today i spent msot of time on the south side of the tulsa bench and it is loud but never enough to get me mad... i can def see where it would though for a lot of people. kinda stunk whenever it was playing and me and another gentleman had trouble hearing each other when talking...
THere was one moment when they played "who let the dogs out" during the pet pictures thing and i honeslty thought it was ridiculously loud.

When a team comes to ISU to play football, they should expect a loud and hostile environment. Expect the sound system to be loud. It's cool.
There are probably some ferns out there that think Hilton Magic is too loud. I prefer they stay home and let the new brand of ISU sports lay its course. Loud is good. Quiet is bad.

It makes up for the lack of atmosphere at times. Minus the student section they are always loud and trying their hardest to get the rest to join in.
Iowa and Oklahoma State fans complained about it last year too. Therefore, I say keep it where it is.
I am in the upper deck, west side and it is earsplitting at times. Sometimes it's just the shrillness of what's coming out.
Last year I was further south and didn't notice it as much. Definitely could use some fine tuning. If it's on 11 now (Reference - This is Spinal Tap), turn it to about 9 and you'd pretty much have it dialed in.

I sit in the upper deck, and it was good volume when the crowd was into the game and for certain songs, like Sweet Caroline. Cut the sound for the Ref's mike. That was terrible, with the feedback at that high volume it sounded like nails on chalkboard. Tweak the sound a bit by directing it a bit and leveling some of the songs.
Personnally, I'd rather have my ears ringing after a game from Cyclone fans cheering after scores than from hip hop music in the pregame and during that bad stretch in the 1st quarter played too loud.
Sat in the upper deck, Section H, and it was terrible. I'm 22 and enjoy loud music, but it was uncomfortably loud and hurt at some points, couldn't hear the person next to you talking.

I thought lower deck student section was fine. Some of the feedback was annoying. Do they have speakers placed throughout the stadium?
There were a few times were I said "Ok seriously it was just fine. Turn it back down." and it was never to quiet. I sat in section BB by the way, Now not ever knowing what the penalties were was a major pain.
Me: "Is it holding?"
Dad: "I don't know probably."
