Sound System

Is it the old guy in me or is the sound system set to "ears bleeding" level?
It varies by song I think... The older songs need to be jacked up because there's no bass, while the newer songs and the pump up effects need to be turned down

I just posted the same, looks like you beat me to it. I am 30 and I thought it was almost to the point of being unbearable.

Where do you guys sit by chance? I am a student... So maybe it doesn't seem quite as loud from our angle

I'm thinking it might be the old age catching up with you. I was at the game with my father and he was complaining about the same thing.

Few rows up in the upper deck, west side about the south 20 yardline. There were some cringe-worthy moments. Lot of hands over the ears around us.

That might be why... Further down the field and at the same level as the speaker equals louder on the ears more than likely compared to where I sit in the lower level student section

Some jackwad student fired the cannon before the game outside the stadium right next to a bunch of people (including myself) and I actually thought it blew my eardrum.

Need to fix the ref's mic, but other than that it sounded fine. Loud like it should be.

Wasn't the complaint two years ago, "What's with our sound system? It's not loud enough."

I probably would be on agreement with the "too loud" crowd, but it's funny to see both sides of the coin here.

I do think where you sit has a lot to do with it. My seats are lower level, directly across from the student section, and I've never thought it was too loud or heard anyone around me complain.

Also the uniforms were too bright, made for an awful strain on my eyes. If we could dull them down a few shades that'd be great.
