What self respecting Iowa State fan or person whose salary is paid by Iowa State fans actually wants Iowa to win the west?. Their fans will be nightmares. The so-called unbiased media in this state will be unbearable. I would love it if their win today was their last win. They are a very good defensive team, but I don't want them to win. Do any of us actually want them to win? (And save the ********, them winning makes us look better crap. it won't.)
As far as the actual game goes, something is very wrong with our offense. Apparently Bruns had a tweet about mouth guards implying lack of discipline. He's good at noticing that sort of stuff (before the LA game kicked off last year he had a comment about how they looked focused and good and it turns out they played focused and good). It's hard to believe that good guys like Brock and Breece and Charlie and Xavier would get cocky. But something is off. And it's easy to ***** about the offensive coordinator and I realize that we were VERY good offensively last year, but Tom Manning needs to figure out some ****. Does anyone actually think we can ******* score a touchdown? I'm literally watching the first half of the UNLV game right now and I wonder what will happen next week.
As far as benching Brock, it was absolutely the right move. He had his worst game as a Cyclone. That doesn't mean he shouldn't start next week. It means he didn't need to keep getting his ******* head beat in today. It was an act of mercy by Campbell to his favorite player.
It's human nature to feel good and puff out your chest alittle since the Oregon win. DId it happen, don't know. Most on this site sure did. But CMC's 4th quarter moves leads me to believe the poop hit the fan. My son even said, Oh my it will be ugly next week during practice. BOTTOM LINE: ISU does not have the ability to overcome 4 turnovers against most D 1 teams. PERIOD

I believe all three receivers were open and our All American running backs fumble gave them 7 points. TWENTY points off of turnovers!!!!!!!!! Are you saying players are coached to fumble and allow interceptions? Of course not.

I think he, and others, think the players are coached that way.
Coverage was tight on the long throws, Iowa WILL not give up the deep ball so take what they give you to move the chains. If a five yard pass turns into 20 then great. The turnovers were what did us in, but NO Rhythm on offense killed us too.

I was actually thinking along the same lines, Iowa fans will have to wrestle with calling yesterday's win a "good win" all season if they lump it in with ranked wins....obviously we also dictate that a bit with how our season rolls.
Well said about the rhythm....and we we had it, we tried deep passes that were hanging up in the air.
I said the exact same to a friend.....I'd take 5-7 yard tosses all day to keep possession and move the chains and might get some wiggle room.

Their defense and special teams is top 10. Their offense sucks. They have gotten 7 turnovers and 3 defensive TDs in 2 games. That’s not going to happen week after week. But that is a team that actually wins in the margins. They are so well coached, it’s impressive.
What was the penalty flag for on the fumbled TD. I never heard and didn’t see it until the replay.

I don’t know. I honestly didn’t even know that happened. I was standing up alone with my hands on my head in section 12 trying to gather myself watching Breece clearly take that hard. The play happened right in front of us.
