Some questions from tonight's game...

Is Hakeem Butler OK? He got hurt (maybe just cramps?) celebrating his touchdown which is a very ISU thing to do.

How come Noland did not come back in for the last series>?
UNI kept their starters in and scored a fairly easy TD after Noland's series. I'm assuming it was to prevent any further comeback action.

From question above: Butler was just cramping. He might be sore the next few days but I would assume he is fine. It must have been a hot one, since many players were cramping for both teams.

He definitely got injured. He had to have help to get off the field lol. You're right not sure how someone disagrees
You have never had a cramp, if you think it is an injury. It hurts. It can keep you out of the game. But there is no limit on future play, like you do see with an actual injury. Hydration is the cure, after the cramp is released.

I quoted by own quote saying I didn't see it was just a cramp. I was at the game and it looked worse there and I didn't see a update yet

Have no idea why coaches call for a pass play with a back up QB in his first at bat,,on 3rd down on their own 3 yaard line,,,after a delay penalty. Whole series could have been a disaster.
Depends what play call was. Some passes are runs in disguise.

No need to qualify it. When someone who couldn't see the game asks why Montgomery didn't play for over a quarter of the game - was he injured? simply responding "no" is a piss poor answer that doesn't begin to answer the whole question. He was cramping pretty badly as evidenced by being practically carried off the field. It did appear to be a cramp at the time as they were immediately putting his leg in the air trying to stretch it out.

A cramp may not be an injury, but it is wrong to answer that question "no".

Didn't Montgomery come back into the game after the cramps? I thought he go a carry as the fullback on a failed 3rd down attempt in the dozer package. Maybe I am just remembering wrong.
