Some questions from tonight's game...

I was unable to watch and had to follow it on the ESPN Game Tracker, so I have a bunch of questions...

1. Did Montgomery get hurt? He started to get rolling and then did not show up in the Play-By-Play for the last quarter and a half.

2. Who all got PT on the o-line and how did they look overall? Other than Montgomery it doesn't seem like the rushing numbers were very good at all. I don't think we gave up a sack though.

3. Which true freshmen, if any, got to play?

4. What was going on with the defense? UNI moved down the field with ease on quite a few drives. I assume we weren't getting any pressure on Dunne.

5. Did our TE's even get a target all game? Did Soehner play?

6. This one is important... How may of you are drunk right now?

Anything you want to add for someone who wasn't able to actually watch the game, please feel free.

NOTE: Congrats to Lazard for breaking the career receptions record!
 
Weird first half with 2 pick sixes in the first quarter. Offense didnt have many opportunities early on.
 
- offense was anemic on the first two drives of the game - one was a 3 & out, the other was nearly a 3 & out. B/c of the two pick-six's early, the offense didn't have a lot of time on the field first half. Really got rolling in the 2nd half, and the run game looked "fairly decent" in the 2nd half.

- TE's were only thrown to once (if you count Seonbuchner as a TE)

1. Pretty sure Montgomery just had a cramp and they decided to let the other backs play the rest of the game.

2. No sacks, the OL protection was pretty good. We never threw it deep though...

3. Johnny Lang got a few carries. Not sure about anybody else.

4. Defense didn't look good the first few series. The last UNI touchdown was against 2nd and 3rd teamers.

5. I don't recall a true TE ever appearing for an offensive snap. Chase Allen played some special teams.

6. Just a little buzzed, I paced myself.

Just review the participation report, Johnnie Lang was the only true fresh I spotted....
One surprise for or me was no Jamhal Johnson, the DL rotation was Trent, Lima and Emyoi with Kamilo getting clean up, also saw Josh Bailey on the report but no Johnson, wonder if he is injured or had off season under the rug sit stuff

And might I add.

Montgomery gonna play in the league some day.

Willie Harvey is a nasty man.

Marcel Spears is playing with his hair on fire.

KCM is still THE MAN.

I wonder the same about Jamahl Johnson. He was talked highly about during fall camp.

The defensive line rotation was mostly Trent, Lima and Uwazurike on the interior, Josh Bailey got a few reps and Kamilo did late. The DE rotation was Waggoner, Bailey, Benton, and Lensing. Uwazurike played some snaps at DE also.

I assume we will see more of Leo and Tongamoa as the season progresses.
