My daughter lives in Stillwater and they bought tickets today for $10. The fans are overlooking ISU. Hopefully the team does too.
I have no idea which ISU team comes out. I usually have a feel for a game but nothing this week. I want to believe it's the team that has improved dramatically over the last three weeks. That is not ISU's history, but coming out and laying an egg is not Campbell's history. We'll see what's happening culture wise.
It is my opinion that if we play close to as well as last week we'll win.

Staying ahead of the chains is key. ISU managed that for much of the game last week. Hopefully that continues.

Oklahoma has has big issues with attendance lately I thought I've heard. Kinda amazing they have similar attendance figures to us. They've been struggling to get close to sellout I believe.

The first three games of the season, we did not run the ball well. Then against Baylor, Gundy basically said, "We can't win a shootout with those guys" and stuck with pounding the ball (poorly) all game long. Then he kept it up against UT with better success. It will be interesting to see what happens Saturday - will we back to bombs away or keep it on the ground.
What's up with Lazard? Did he get hurt? It looks like his performance has tapered off a bit. Now that I said that, his 2017 Heisman campaign starts tomorrow...
I think the crowd will be pretty good. Beautiful day, reasonable kickoff time, coming off a nice win.
I think OSU wins, but I am quite sure it won't be without a few "oh crap" moments from you guys.
A lot of teams double cover Lazard a lot. Hes still had some pretty great receptions and TD's, but it's probably tapered because of that. Dashaunte Jones is starting to emerge though.
After visiting the OSU football web site, I look forward to a time when people are actually worried about playing us and the reporter questions to coaches and players do not center on avoiding a letdown when playing Iowa State.

If you've ever been there for a game, it's very effective. Amps the noise up to a whole different level.
According to many here, basketball attendance problems at both schools are due to the Thunder. Might as well pin the blame on them for this as well.
It aggrevates me that when the conference banned artificial noisemaker in in 2012, that these were grandfathered in, due to "tradition." They haven't even been doing it that long, only since late 90's, but really picking up following in early to mid 00's, so at the time of the ban, they were still sort of a new thing.
While they technically aren't allow to make noise when the quarterback gets in position to receive the snap and starts calling cadence, it gives their home field advantage (stands are practically on top of the field) an even bigger edge.
I've watched a game there in person, and it gets annoying in a hurry!
Wasn't the last time ISU was in Stillwater when the refs gave OSU a TD right at the half when they were clearly short, and then the Clones failed to field the second half kickoff? Let's not do that again.
Had TD catch called back against Baylor. No longer returning punts. Am looking for 2 Blythe type TD catches in Stillwater.
