I've snooped around a bit and am surprised there is almost no talk about ISU@OSU tomorrow.

I was bummed about the ISU finish against Baylor. OSU was somewhat close in our game with them, but you guys were right freaking there. Argh. Weird to think that the road to the Big 12, for now, goes through Waco and Morgantown (The Redbull Juggernaut!).

Warren has got to be licking his chops after watching film of UT's brute squad running backs just gashing us. It still bugs me that we missed out on in-state talent like him.

Looks like a great day for football tomorrow. 75 and mostly sunny. I'll take it!

For those of you coming to the game, have a safe trip.

I am hoping we can run the ball and dictate tempo like we did against Baylor. If we can, I think we can stay in the game. If we can't I see it being a 42-21 type score where OSU gets up early and we aren't ever really in the game.

Good luck the rest of the way after tomorrow!

Just like I said before the Baylor game about Baylor, I don't feel OSU is as good as people think. Our conference looks like a big mess this year. I think OSU needs to just run the ball. If they decide they are going to try and beat our defense through the air, I like our chances because I think our offense is going to have success this week again.

I have a bad feeling that OKST's running game will finally click against us. I'm hoping our offense will keep up the momentum and we can keep up in a shootout... Not used to those types of games around here...

Yeah, kind of like Baylor, the line is not as big as I'd expect.

It will be interesting to me to see if the team shows up and plays somewhat as well as they did against Baylor. In past years, they've followed up some close games with real duds.

Our MO over the decades has been to follow up a close, competitive loss with a complete disappearance in the next week. There's not much chatter about this game because most people are likely resigned to the ultimate outcome... they just want to see the Cyclones prove that their performance last week wasn't a fluke.

That said, IF we can resume the offensive execution (ball control, converting 3rd downs, putting the ball in space picking up consistent gains, few penalties) and the defense can show some occasional life, Cyclones have a chance here. Our last couple trips to Stillwater, we've played low-scoring, competitive first halves followed by disintegrating second halves.

Wasn't expecting what happened against Baylor, so I have no idea what to expect. OP, what kind of crowd is expected? It's a later kick, so I am assuming that will help. Or perhaps, ISU isn't a great draw?

I imagine if we would have beat UNI and Baylor there would be a lot more excitement around here. Hard to get to fired up at this point, hopefully we can finish strong and get a few more wins.

I see a dropoff from the Baylor game, ISU loses by 10-14 id say. But I think we get back to the fundamentals again (less penalties and big mistakes). I hope Im wrong but I can't imagine that weve turned around this fast and can remain there consistently. As long as we come away injury-free and with improvements on the defensive line I am happy.

I think this week will be similar to last week for Okie St, we make some plays early to make it exciting but peter out and lose by a couple TD's. 38-22 Pokes

I just checked ticketmaster. There are plenty of seats available

I don't think the new staff will allow this team to take a step back after a tough loss. They're close to breaking through. It's not reasonable to expect Lanning to play the game of his life in back to back weeks, but even he comes back to earth the rest of the team will continue to improve. I think it will be anyone's game going into the fourth. The only question is if this is the week when the Cyclones figure out how to close games. It's going to happen eventually. Why not tomorrow?

I wouldn't call 2:30 really a late kick.

I remember two years ago down there was an 11 am kick. The crowd was pretty sparse and the whole place seemed to be asleep. That seemed to help us until we crapped the bed late in the first half. Will be interesting to see what kind of crowd is there for a 2:30 start.

I feel like Okie St is worse than Baylor but we'll lose by two TD's. Like 42 - 28 or something along those lines.

or we win 38 - 13. Just because :D
