Shawn Johnson what a joke!

I saw her walking on the East side of the stadium after the game. I also watched a small group of drunk Iowa fans walk by her and 1 of them turned around and slapped her right on the rear. She didn't even bat an eyelash. 2 seconds later another drunk Hawk fan about had a seizure when he noticed who it was. "OMG Shawn Johnson!!! Guys, its Shawn Johnson!!!" That was truly the highlight of the day.

That whole event is so inappropriate. That idiot just assumed this was the way to treat somebody he doesn't know at the time. :wideeyed:

I'd love to go back to posts from a year ago and see all of the people on this site falling all over Shawn Johnson. My, how things change.

For the record, I always thought the hype around her was overboard, but some of the things that are being said about her in this thread are downright classless.

Anyone else see Shawn at the game today? My daughter and her friends did. They asked if they could get a picture with her and she was a snotty brat about it. It was like "Ughhh... Ok, whatever" and then they asked about an autograph, she's like "no, I don't really want to." She did not impress me at all. Anyway she was sporting here alliance to the Hawks, unfortunately as seen in the picture. She kinda has a flat head and pistol grip ears if you know what I mean and she could pass for 9 year old.

You have no class. I'd much rather use words that turn into *s but you'd be too stupid to know what I was trying to say.

And I'm not typing a long post because I wouldn't want your lips to get tired.

I enjoy how people who root for or take a special interest in someone for the sole reason that they are from Iowa and then seek the high ground with someone else that criticizes that person for being a fan of a rival.

How about not being a star ******and not ask high school kids for autographs and pictures.
If she was a pro athlete, then maybe she "owes" people the opportunity, but otherwise don't be such a mark

I'm certain that she attended the game to see the pro's and con's of running a 3-4 defense instead of the typical 4-3. And on that note - you can't keep her away from seeing a cover-man vs. a bump and run on outside coverage and determining whether it yielded more on 2nd and 3rd down to justify the disadvantages on first down. She was there for the athletic contest - the game.

Some of you just presume too much!

"I was fine with all the coverage during the olympics. Now it's getting annoying and her parents are prostituting her out for nearly everything available. I have a feeling that her parents have quit work and are now full time promoters.

Dancing with the stars, this dancing event at WF arena, etc.

Then I was watching the Espy's and she was put up for some kind of award. Why would she be put up for the award instead of Nastia? Nastia had a better olympics.

If you watch the local news in Des Moines you can't go a week without hearing about this girl. "

I know there were people who were already tired of hearing about her back then (as I said, I was one of them). But there were a lot more who couldn't get enough of her. More and more people have turned against her over the course of the past year.
