Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

From what I can recall it was more talking about the level of competition each one faced and Patrick made a comment that Connor would rather have "the ring".

Not a huge deal.

He wouldn't have put out an apology and deleted all the tweets saying his AAU teammate didn't deserve it if it wasn't a big deal

Great for Iowa and we havent even played yet. The 2 and 3 seed in the Iowa bracket lost last night.

Win our first 2 and we get to play a 6 or a 7 for a trip to MSG.

FUture is bright for Iowa even if they flame out like NIT teams do. Return 2 Fr All BigTen players, the BigTen 6th man of the year.

Return 75% of our scoring
Return 85+% of our rebounding
Return 85+% of our assists

I didnt see anything that Connor tweeted.

Patrick fired off several pretty much saying it was a joke Connor didnt win. Nothing malicious towards the winner that I could tell.

Why are 15 year olds talking smack on twitter to begin with? Fran needs to get control of his kids.

Lol, nobody picks brackets like this, and if they do they aren't winning any pools.

He literally said that on ESPN on Sunday night when they were going through his bracket.

I dont think Dakich cares if he wins any pools.

Whar outrage about a college kid talking smack? If Fran's kids in high school should know better then a college sophomore should know better as well.

Cmon dude in Fran's shoes you have to teach these kids they aren't like everyone else. They already come off as entitled

And I'm sure Francis and Margaret had a talk with him and that is where the follow up tweet came from.

This really is a non story.

Yes, because talking about an entire team is the same thing as singling out a high school kid.
