Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Hawk fans don't root for their rivals. I hope Minnesota, Wisconsin and MSU all go down in flames. I am rooting for ISU this NCAA tournament as I don't view them as rivals like I do Minnesota, Wisconsin and MSU.

Moss is really bad, I dont know why Iowa fans are defending him. He killed easy fast breaks twice in about a 5 minute stretch against Indiana the other night. I dont watch enough games but I can probably safely say thats not the first time hes done it.

He's been at Iowa 2 years already and if he was worth a crap he would have played more. Teams dont redshirt guys anymore unless they are bad. We didnt redshirt Long this year and there was no way he was getting minutes.

Yeah, I was thinking of Joks freshman year when they lost to that awful Tennessee team. He was their only offense that game as a true freshman. Moss is pretty much a sophomore and hes awful compared to Jok as a freshman. That just further proves my point.

Tennessee made the Sweet 16 that year and damn near made the Elite 8.

And Woodbury scored more than Jok against Tennessee.

Jok and Moss arent even in the same league as freshman. Not only that but you have to compare Moss to Jok as a sophomore. That year Jok was their only offense in that play-in game.

Moss is just really bad at basketball. He cant make jump shots, which becomes a major issue when he keeps killing fast breaks by pulling up for 15 footers while they have a 3 on 1 break. He did that at least twice the other night.

Peter shot 45% and 35% as a Fr. And 37% and 34% as a So. Moss shot 44% and 35%

Moss is a better defender and way more athletic than Pete. He will never be the shooter/scorerer that Jok is. He will average close to or over 10 PPG next year and easily over 10 PPG as a Jr and Sr.

Big 12 wins: Kansas over Nebraska, Baylor over Michigan State, and West Virginia beating Illinois

Big 10 wins: Indiana beating Kansas, Iowa over ISU, Northwestern and Michigan beating Texas, Wisconsin over Oklahoma, Maryland beating KSU and OSU.

Four of those wins are over teams with records significant under .500. Moving on...

Lol, yeah because they ran into the 11 seed UMASS that year who had no business being in the tournament like Tennessee. Iowa would have easily made the Sweet 16 also had they simply beat a scrub SEC team in that play-in game.

Probably the first person I have ever heard of saying a 6 seed didnt belong in the tournament.

The Big12 only had 1 win Vs BigTen NCAA teams Ouch. They were really bad against the BigTen head to head.

Lard needs no explanation, everyone knows why he redshirted. Its not even close to the same situation as Moss. Moss redshirted because he sucked last year.

Oh my bad, UMASS as a 6 seed? What a joke. Doesnt matter the seeds, I just remember Iowa choking away an easy Sweet 16 path because they couldnt beat a bad Tennessee team.
