Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Instead, I looked at Pro Bowl numbers, because who cares when a guy gets drafted if he's a bust. The Big Ten had 11 players in the PB, and only four on defense (Cameron Wake, Cliff Avril, Ryan Kerrigan, and Joe Thomas). The Big 12 had 12 players in the PB, and seven on defense (Gerald McCoy, Von Miller, Michael Bennett, Aqib Talib, Chris Harris, Brian Orakpo, Ndamukong Suh). Unless I'm missing someone. Hopefully that settles the football argument in the basketball thread.

Jorbo is the definition of a volume scorer. That doesn't make him good. It just means he shoots a ton.

Pro Bowl? So if a player never makes the pro-bowl he's a bust? I dont care who ends up being the elite of the elite, I want to know how many defensive players from each each the NFL has deemed draftable.

I go by frosted locks, head band width and number of wrist/arm bands, but that's just me.

Valid point, but I really evaluate any incoming talent on the high five skills, and the amount of flexing they do after a dunk or a blocked shot, which I forgot to mention in my prior post. Dammit anyways.

Your back court is below average now and you lose your best back court player. Good luck next year!

You mean really good at fouling and turning the game into a rugby match? **** those thugs, Im tired of Huggins and garbage basketball. I hope those hillbillies lose to Winthrop or someone like that again.

I hope they lose too first round just like Kansas but they are an elite defensive team and they are really good.

ISU only takes 6'10 50% 3 point shooters that bring the ball up and run the offense, so it looks like your expectations have a ways to go to get to 'elite' , 'Should Be In' by late February NCAA tourney qualifying status.

Huh?
I'm not sure I've ever mentioned the word Elite and Iowa, let alone Iowa basketball! Nor have I talked about the NCAA tourney, as I'm not expecting that we will win a game in the Big Ten tournament, let alone 2 which we probably need to get a shot at an at large bid.
