And your point? I was responding to a really stupid post ripping on Iowa grads leaving the state. I would hope that most Iowa State grads aren't stupid enough to stick around Iowa, if they have better career opportunities elsewhere.
I only stay in Ames a few times a year, usually after late basketball games.
Iowa hasn't been to the Sweet 16 in what? 20 years? Don't see them getting there any time soon.
I think that's great. I was born and raised in Iowa and have lived in Boston, Phoenix and am now in Chicago (since graduating), because the career opportunities were much better is these larger cities. I love Iowa and hope to return someday. My point is....there are many, many, many Iowa kids at both Iowa and Iowa State that feel the need to leave the state to advance their careers. I don't think that's spin...

Solomon had 18 and 12 today in his 2nd career start, and he was less touted than his classmate who didn't make it til 2nd semester and is a RS.
Going to be interesting to see who the better duo is between Cook/Pemsl and Young/Lard.
