Bottom of the Big 10 is really horrible at basketball, no question about it.
Finally you admit Iowa is horrible. Only a couple weeks of stupidity from you before you saw the light

Because they have won 6 games, which would put them better than about 6 or 7 teams. How is this hard to understand? Winning games, that's why teams play, period. So why were you saying they were ahead of 7 teams in the conference which isn't true by any standing or metric if you prefer RPI?
The Pirates underachieved a bit last year, but they were in a tough division and had some injuries. They are a team I fear this year.Big Pirates fan here. MLB is by far my favorite sport to watch, and the Pirates are by far my favorite sports team.
What does "it was their Super Bowl" mean? As far as I know there is one Super Bowl, and that was played a couple weeks ago in Houston.Yeah it was their superbowl, but they sure didn't look serviceable against Omaha.
Like next year, after their one-week-early conference tournament, so that they can showcase Rutgers?Big 10 schedule is so cushy. Not only are the bottom teams terrible, and the top teams mediocre on the road, but they also have like two weeks each season that they only have 1 game.

Should be good enough to sneak in the Playoffs if Cole and McCutchen can bounce back and be health. Also, need some younger guys/prospects to emerge and take a step forward. Lotta talent in that division, both at MLB level and farm system level. It's a bear. The Pirates underachieved a bit last year, but they were in a tough division and had some injuries. Are you talking about 2012-13?No it wouldn't. Iowa was ahead of two teams the year they went to the NIT that win to the NCAA Tournament
How does Iowa treat it like a Super Bowl? If you mean they care that they win and get fired up to play a rival, and want to call it them acting like its a Super Bowl, then fine call it what you want. But, I'd much rather my team get fired up to play a rival and care that they win, then don't? So, idk what your argument is. Plus, "Super Bowl" this and that is just another excuse, in a long list of them, by Iowa State fans.Every time Iowa gets to play Iowa State in football or basketball they treat it like it's their Super Bowl. Iowa is horrible this year, second worst team in a bad conference but Iowa fans will say "this is been a fun ride" because they beat ISU. They lose that game and Fran is probably fired, it's really the only game the fans and players care about
Agree, some well run organizations in that division, and we all only get to play the Brewers 18 times a year.Should be good enough to sneak in the Playoffs if Cole and McCutchen can bounce back and be health. You should go to a game in Iowa City against that team to the west. You would be distraught at the things that happen to the people in red, if those things make you think Vikings fans are the worst

We played poorly. We didn't have a lot of energy and didn't get back defensively. Iowa played their best game of the year. I still think we beat Iowa 9 out of 10 times. How does Iowa treat it like a Super Bowl? I think the Pirates will push the Cubs much harder than the Cards this year. I think STL will struggle to get to 80 W's this year.Agree, some well run organizations in that division, and we all only get to play the Brewers 18 times a year.
Also, they are not the 2nd worst team in the Big Ten.Every time Iowa gets to play Iowa State in football or basketball they treat it like it's their Super Bowl. Losing Reyes hurts a lot.I think the Pirates will push the Cubs much harder than the Cards this year. I think STL will struggle to get to 80 W's this year.

Not sure why you are linking that to me
