This thread is now on a different kind of level now that we're debating Northwestern and TCU basketball. Why don't we get Nebraska in to the mix while we're at it?

The day ISU loses to anyone by 35 is the day I start wanting a new coach.
Last time ISU lost by more than 15, 2/10/14 at WVU in a 102-77 stomping. They played lights out Kane/Ejim year.

I've looked at TCU's schedule so far, have you? They played nobody in the non-con as usual and have lost to every good team they've played except one (and that's entirely dependent on whether or not ISU is good).
They'll have ample opportunity to prove themselves coming up. I'll gladly admit I was wrong if they make the tournament, but something tells me that when they inevitably miss the tournament like they usually do you guys will have moved on to something else
Can anyone answer me why Iowa starts 4 freshman when 2 of them suck? Has he literally just not recruited anyone the last 3 years?
They have a good RPI, Ken Pom, and Sagarin rating and are getting votes for the top 25. Big 12 will get at least 6 teams in the tournament. Unless the completely collapse the rest of the season they should get in the tournament.
Their RPI right now is 25. If the tourney was today, they are in. What teams have been left out that have an rpi in top 25? I'd guess maybe 1 or 2 in history.
Also willing to bet their sagarin raiting is top 30 without looking. I know it's hard for Iowa fans to understand how this all works since they don't follow basketball.

I don't really see where they are going to get the bad losses to knock them down. Already beat OU at home and Texas on road. I'm sure they beat Texas at home. That leaves OU on road and that likely won't be a killing loss come March. Also, I think they have a good chance of beating Baylor at home or WVU. Already almost beat WVU on road and KU at home. But don't worry, I won't bump this thread when they are in the NCAA tourney in march .
