Re: Iowa MBB definitely not a #1 seed

Honestly thought Iowa would win a share of the conference winning this game. Quite the collapse for them. Iowa State might have passed them in bracketology after this game for the time being.

At least Fran is good at one thing: orchestrating late season collapses.

Love it.

Hey remember Iowa fans laughing that we lost @Tech in OT? Guess who has the same RPI as Tech now?

Re: Iowa MBB definitely not a #1 seed

I know that we are conditioned to think Ohio State is good. But let's be clear. Losing at Ohio State (without one of their players, by the way) is basically the equivalent of losing at Kansas State. Not quite as bad as losing at Penn State. And maybe not as bad as losing against Wisconsin at home. It is NOT like losing at Texas or Baylor (or fill in the places where Iowa State has lost this year.)

AP top 10 went 9-10 this week. Wowzers.

So far 14 Top 25 teams lost a games this week. If Oregon loses tonight, it will be 15.

I had Iowa State ahead of Iowa with one team in between before this game. I'll have to update later but I doubt that's the case anymore.

Duke, Kentucky, and Iowa all lost so I think ISU is safely a 4 seed for now.
