That happens once a season to every team. Not unique to Iowa at all. UNI shot their freaking minds out against us too.
Obviously this loss isn't a huge deal for Iowa (although the trend with almost losing to Minnesota is a bit concerning). But it is a horrible loss. No need to deny that.

With the way they are playing as of late I just hope they can be in the top 6 seeds. They won't beat Wisconsin, Indiana, or Michigan with the way they've been playing.

Iowa will AT BEST split the remaining four games. Two games at the mausoleum against the hottest team in the league, Wisconsin, and Indiana and on the road against two teams on the bubble and needing a 'big' win at OSU and Michigan. Good teams lose to lesser teams all the time so the idiot Hawk fan saying Iowa won't lose to Michigan is high.

Also, Iowa fans might need to be a tad concerned about keeping a spot in the Des Moines location for the NCAAs. USAToday dropped Iowa to a four seed today and bumped them out of Des Moines to OKC. Palm also dropped Iowa to a three seed.

I think this is already Iowa fan's biggest concern. Have to keep winning to stay in the Des Moines bracket.

It's also the biggest concern for ISU fans living in DSM. I want as much advance notice as possible if I need to avoid the 73rd/University areas.

I think most have accepted it as a given. If they were to fall out of Des Moines, there will be many ****** off Hawkeyes who don't understand the process.
