Iowa would have to fall even more. Maybe Michigan St or Indiana if they finish higher than Iowa. Or Xavier in a crazy scenario.

My brother in law, who is a hawk grad and huge fan, HATES Woodbury. I must get 5 texts every game from him about how awful Woodbury is.

Yes it does. Every year some no namer shoots out of their mind against the Hawks, and tonight was the night.

Wasn't talking about losing in Happy Valley. Someone shoots out of their mind every year and beats us that has no business beating us.

Penn State didn't shoot out of their mind though. 35% against poor perimeter defense is not that good

Donovon Jack, who averaged 3 PPG had 19 tonight. 8-9 from the field. To say he didn't say he shot out of his mind is crazy. However, we do have problems. We may have peaked to early, but we had to with a schedule that the big ten gave us, or we would have been 3-7 in our first ten. We need a 3rd scoring option if we want to go anywhere in March. Things will (hopefully) work out.

Jack is a big man who scored at will around the rim because Woodbury was lost on the defensive end tonight. That's not someone shooting lights out that's just bad defense. He was open for point blank shots all night

Iowa was lost on defense in general. When the zone is working, it is working, but when it is not we can not be in it at all. Results in people overplaying and getting wide open layups. I thought man worked well tonight, but for some reason we didn't play it all that often. Woody has, and always will have problems with quicker post, and that showed tonight. Like I said though, main problem is 3rd option, and free throw shooting.
