Lol, he can't even dunk. And he's been victimized twice by the throw it off the back by the in-bounder play in his career. NOT GOOD. STOP TROLLING. If Iowa is so great then shout it from the roof tops that you are an iowa fan on an ISU message board. Get proud of your favorite school! Why are you embarrassed to be a hok fan?

The Rutgers statement is true. Nebby rolled them without Shields and no inside presence.

It doesn't hold sound in like Hilton but at court level it is as loud as any other arena when full. Underrated venue IMHO but as of last year they really needed to upgrade the video boards.

Hate to break it to you Cyclone fans, but Woodbury is a good bball player. Is he all conference or all american, no. But he is a very solid tough nosed player who plays his heart out despite his athletic shortcomings.

I know, he is unmatched at eye pokes, cheating at tip off, and throwing elbows. This is known as "tough nosed" in hawk country.

I would say he's the definition of average. He had been below average until this year where he's playing better

Just curious, please grade the following players with the following grading scale:

A - Outstanding, All conference level play at least
B - Above average player
C - Average D1 player for that position
D - Below average D1 player for that position
F - Hurts the team with the quality of player he is

Gesell -
Clemmons -
Jok -
Uthoff -
Dingleberry -
Bench -

Then tell me how what grade the overall Iowa team gets:

Please do the same for the following:

Morris -
Thomas -
Nader -
Niang -
McKay -
Bench -

Then tell me how you would grade the overall ISU team gets:

Quite possible they are still ranked ahead of Iowa when the polls come out today. My guess is OU falls to 3, and Iowa comes in at 4.

54th in PPG (8.5)
7th in Reb (7.7)
55th in Blocks(.35)

Your expectations are incredibly low if that's a "good" basketball player. I think your perception is being thrown off from him being god awful for 3 years.

Precisely; MadFran has taken a bunch of C+ / B- Dorks and has them playing excellent as a team. They are consistent and the only losses since December is road games to us and Mary. Hate to say it, but this is an excellent team playing their best team ball right now.

Morris is a finalist for the Cousy Award and Wooden Award but he's a B+. Lol

I'll take that from a Center that plays good post defense, is unselfish with the ball and a good passer and is a good rebounder. He also shoots a high percentage from the floor and FT line. That is my definition of a good center.

Woodbury is definitely an above average player this year, Offensive Rating of 119.9, 170th in the country. Just outside the top 100 in OReb rate at 12.0 and DReb rate at 21.9. Those are pretty solid numbers.
