*RUMOR* why is Park taking a leave of absence?

A week off in the film room and working on his mechanics would benefit him just as much as practice snaps right now.
His poor play Thursday was mostly mechanics and a coaching staff putting him in bad positions with piss poor game plan.
Not playing doesn't mean he isn't taking snaps in practice and working on mechanics.
Violation of team rules= smoked happy weed, failed test, sitting out game.
It does NOT= removed from all contact witht he program and sitting at home doing nothing.
He could spend the week working solely on mechanics and film study. Those were his two biggest weaknesses on Thursday. Most of his throws were to the correct area, he just had poor mechanics.
Unfortunately, he can't work on the pass protection or OL play which is the one thing people are ignoring in last week's piss poor performance. OL play was atrocious.
Agree. Would think that CW and staff would have enough contact with Campbell that they could text him and ask as much as the Register and Trib do.
Or, maybe fans can wait until Saturday. I mean really...what difference does it make if Cyclone Fanatic gets affirmation that Park is out? It the world going to end if we don't know? Do people really have their day ruined if they don't know?
Lol you don't seem to realize how many of our athletes do it.
If true, he certainly won’t be taking practice snaps. Those will go towards getting the other guys ready to play.
He’s not going to magically fix his mechanics mid season during a week he takes off. I think that’s a bit of a misnomer anyway. Quite frankly given his age I think he mostly is what he is at this point.
In the big scheme of war and peace, it does make no difference.
But you, like me, are on a chat board simply reading about Iowa State athletics for fun.

Everyone realizes that a lot of them do it.
I think the problem is that you get one free chance. So once you get that warning, you should probably stay away from it during the season.
His wording to the Tribune was Park was not suspended “from the team”. That’s why this is still a talking point.
