Royce White headed to D-league??

No, that's calling out the Rockets for saying a phone call isn't sufficient.
Phink---

2. Someone who would turn another person in just so he/she can save his/her ***.

How will he get the money back? Just walk in and say" I'm sorry, can I have the fine money back?"

I don't know. Anything would be a guess. See...it doesn't say what he'll do nor does it say specifically that it would be those exact dollars. Heck he could mean "I'll get more money back in my account when this is over and they are no longer fining me" but that would be just another guess.

found this post on the Rockets boards talking about this.

Yes it is daily.

This is the better angle from the Rockets perspective
than them reaching out to Royce to try and negotiate a buyout first.

They are getting back a good chunk of capital in return from their
losses. Royce makes roughly 80 to 85K after taxes monthly. So something like
$2,800 all in a days work. $15K a day is a sizable chunk to give up.

So
this goes 1 of 2 ways. Either he keeps allowing himself to get fined to the
point of bankrupcy(and he keeps his Twitter dignity)

or he takes 2 or 3
days of fining, realizes he cannot afford this. Shapes up & becomes a
productive player, or he comes to the table to negotiate a buyout.

Im
banking on the buyout by sometime early next week at the latest. I just dont see
him have a change of heart that quick, publicly apologizing, turning off his
Twitter account, and getting back to work like nothing ever happened.

Maybe its been said in here already (Im not reading this meltdown thread) but I think Royce's situation (and unfortunately Im belittling his problem some by putting it aside for a second) I think this is a HUGE indication of how good a coach we really have!!! If CFH was able to lead Royce through this and when hes (royce that is) is off CFH watch he goes back to having trouble, it really points to CFH being a great steward of young men!

Royce is being incredibly naive in this situation. I would think his agent would be sitting on the couch with him, telling what to say and what NOT to say.

The Rockets board had a guy saying Royce's agent cut ties with him and wants to collect Royce's draft money.

Who knows if it's true, but it would explain why he's still doing all this 3 days later.

went to his twitter count look at what someone tweeted at him. So people are ***ed up.

Royce White ‏@Highway_30
@rickylela: @Highway_30 do us all a favor and just shoot or hang yourself.....Thanks:)” Reasons why I tweet... These are our neighbors.

This situation stinks even though playing in the nba would make him money I really think for him baskeball is not his end all, be all. I remember the stories bout his musical abilities maybe he can make something work in that are.

Not defending this rickylela moron but it is the internet. You can find these kind of responses to just about anything.

Royce and Fred have the same agent. Something tells me he isn't going to abandon Royce and risk causing issues with Fred.

We all know Royce isn't a diva, because we all know of personal stories about him stopping for pics with people's children, shaking hands, etc. Royce knew he had our support, and he reacted in kind.

NBA fans don't have that quasi-personal relationship with him. They don't know who he is or care what he does after a game - they want him to perform. They just don't care about his platform - not yet, anyway, and he isn't endearing himself to them.

He is hurting his own cause, both literally and figuratively. He is hurting his career, but he is also making it look like anxiety sufferers are high-maintenance prima donnas - and he is anything but that. I do NOT advocate for him hurtin his health, but he also has to make some concessions.

MAI adore Royce, I hope this works out.

I think Angie nailed it. Excellent post!
