Royce White headed to D-league??

Sort of. I think it seems that Royce is having a pretty serious breakdown here. I don't think this is a healthy man engaging in manic Tweeting sessions for 2.5 days straight. I thought at first that he was just being illogical - I think now, after his continued activities, that something pretty serious is going down. At this point, they're just making fun of someone for their handicap. Don't get me wrong - he's participating right back. But that's like taunting someone who sees things that aren't there when they tell you about them. He doesn't see that what he's doing is unhealthy, IMO.
I truly think he needs his meds adjusted and some VERY serious counseling with both his doctor and the team doc - anyone who can help, at this point.
I don't disagree with what you are saying, but there has to be someone around him that would see this if he were in serious trouble, right? I don't know if any of us know his personal situation, but I would think there has to be someone with him in all of this. At least he hasn't tweeted anything in the last few hours. Maybe someone talked to him.
That's the question. I don't know, that's a real concern. He's sort of isolated from his long-time friends and family down there, right? You'd figure someone would pick up the phone and check this out - but what if the people who would be watching out for him don't follow Twitter? Unless you've talked to him in person, how would you know? You'd figure his agent would be shutting this down... but I don't know. Maybe he has a yes-man.
I've been on and off Twitter for the last few days so I'm sure I've missed some stuff. But have any Cyclone fans been tweeting at Royce? Not to pick a fight or taunt him, but to reach out and see if we can help in some way? I know that's far-fetched and probably wouldn't do much good. But I've wondered how he might respond to a community that has been supportive of him.
What I don't think he understands is that a lot of people support him and his illness but they don't support the way he's going about this. And I think that gets lost in 140 characters.

I took it to mean that Dr Phink is only available for a phone call and that's not acceptable to Royce so he won't do it, therefor instigating another fine. This guy is beyond entitled.
If that is the case then Royce sure has a very legit argument. So the Rockets aren't letting meet his own doctor, and the doctor that they are providing to him only wants to do phone appointments.
I am beginning to see Royce's side. I wish he made his point more clearly, though.

Its in his contract and its an nba rule. Therefore the rockets have no blame in this.
I think Royce was supposed to meet with Dr. Fink (intentional mis-spelling on Royce's part.....which is rude) and Royce called him and said he could not make the appointment....which the team did not accept, so they fined him. Now, the team wants to have him go to another appointment, but apparently, the doctor is only able to contact him by phone, so Royce is wondering if the team will fine him again.....which they probably won't.

Also, as has been mentioned before....the team has to have approval of any doctor. If they do not approve yours.....then that 's it. But, if you start missing games or practices because of a medical condition, then the team can require you to go to their doctor or therapist as a part of your contractual obligation to the team. Royce is not right here at all. He has to realize that professional contracts like this are approved by the Player's Associations too. He is just naive in all this.
