I understand paying him a lot based on what he did for the program years ago but I think they got a little pay crazy.

Take a look at the defensive ratings of the teams that he put all those numbers up against. The change in OC did have an affect as well.

no, 12 games is not a big sample size at all. That's why when people run projections for seasons they have their computers run through each game 1,000 times or more.
We'll never really know the affect the change in OC had. I think we can assume it must have had some affect.
Well since KF is such a great coach he should find out who hired the OC and relieve them of their duties...
or maybe find a better quarterback who can do the things his coach asks him to.

there is always hope when you're talking about quarterbacks who haven't played, that's why the backup quarterback is the best job on the roster.

Probably 75%. It was pretty easy during basketball season when they thought they were relevant...now saying KF is a good coach is just too easy. I guess debating with Hok fans make me a little brother?
Your "debating" consisted of running down Kirk Ferentz based on his achievements at Iowa. We may have his number the last couple of years, but last I checked, Ferentz had achieved far more things at Iowa than CPR has achieved here at ISU. Ferentz is a good coach in the middle of a slump. Nothing more, nothing less.
As much as I hate the CF idiots arguing with Hawk fans on here and making themselves look like fools, CyTwins does a good job of providing relevant arguments against anything Hawkeye. Though I don't fully agree with everything he(?) posts, it is not useless rambling out of hatred alone for the Hawks.
My debate was I think KF used to be a good coach, I don't think he is anymore but thats just my opinion. The game has changed over the last few years and he has refused to adapt his style and it shows. I also stated CPR has 0 top 20 finishes while KF has multiple but I'd still rather have CPR as a coach right now...

I have posted a lot in this thread but it was only because Clark was making excuses after excuses on why KF hadn't had success lately...plus its hard to be the little brother when we've had more success in both major sports over the last 3 years
